June Druprez plays Anne Burnett, and she's riding in a car with Helen Haye (the older woman). Helen wraps a scarf around June, telling her it's going to be cold. Without warning, Helen slams the scarf over June's nose and mouth causing her to pass out. I was astonished when I saw that the date of this movie was 1939. Must be one of the earliest chloroform scenes in film.
